Yamaha Electric Drum Kit Amplifier?
I have the Yamaha Dtxplorer drum kit and i was wondering what type of amp i need to get
i really have no idea.. can it be any kind of amplifier?
if so do any of you know any good sites or anything with some moderately affordable good quality amps?
cheers
Depends what it's for. Gigging, playing with friends or just in the home.
The thing to remember is that it's a stereo source, your drum kit, so if you could afford a stereo set up, like a small PA or such, then it'd be better. Something like this:

Rest of the band could plug in through this too.
Otherwise a basic mono guitar or keyboard amp like this

If it's just for the home, a cheap stereo amp and speakers would suffice. Like these:

All UK links I'm afraid. You should be able to find something similar wherever you are.
