I can't clean my drum cymbal! please help?
i'm selling my drums really soon but i have a problem, last year i was upstairs in my newly bulit house and it was really dusty at the top so for some reason i got a room fragrance thing and kept on spraying my drum cymbal with it cos i was bored and it smelt nice (???) haha o_O
anyway i noticed parts of the cymball went green and horrible! i need to sell my drums cos im moving house again. last week i tried to clean the cymbal but it didnt really work. its not green anymore but it has horrible marks on it and its not a nice colour. I tried everything to get it clean like mr muscle and cillit bang! they proably damaged it too tbh. anyway, is there anything i can get that will get the marks off!!! i've heard of a drum cymbal cleaner but im not sure of that would work. please help if you've had the same problem.
use a brass cleaner or you could try some ketchup with some baking soda, just make a past and run it on and then buff it off. the acid in the ketchup will eat away at the corrosion on the brass
