Transitioning from single-bass pedal to double-bass pedal?

I've been drumming for almost a year and ever since I started I've been using single bass. In a few weeks, I'm getting a double-bass pedal, but from experiece, do you find the transition smooth or complicated? Tips?

it all depends. ive been drumming double bass all my life. i started with double bass.. switched to single, and now im with both. to be honest, if you are good with single, you can play double. its a little different then single, and a really different feel. as long as you have rhythm, and you are a decent drummer, double bass is easy.

its really fun too. as long as you just relax and really put yourself in your drumming, you will be fine.
