Sabian AA Maker's Mark?

I found a Sabian AA 8" splash cymbal on eBay. It looked like it had a dent so I asked the seller if it was a dent or smudge/shadow/etc. The seller said it looks like a dent but it's really a Sabian Maker's Mark. Did Sabian produce ANY AA cymbals that have ANY hand hammered markings?

I don't think Sabian produces AA hammered cymbals like Paiste has. Even if they did, if their is a dent on the cymbal, it is uselss even on hand-hammered cymbals. It will kill the sound because the sound runs along the groove from center to outside rim. NOt worth it. If it's a mark, that's unimportant and won't alter the sound. Make sure first. Ask the person to post a pic of the underside where the mark is. If there is no dent, then you know it is safe.
