How can i make music ?
hi guys , i love music , and i was wondering if anyone could point me to the right direction here. I can create music very quickly in my mind . I could hear the percussions, the orchestra and everything . And i could instantly transform the beats and song tune while i am creating it in my mind to make it Stand out from the current songs that we all hear and see on tv .
I can see how it will affect the mass population and the end result. But the problem is I don't know how to play a single instrument. I know a little bit of piano and a little bit of guitar , i love to make music by drumming with my palms on any kind of surface .That's it.
How can I bring out everything i have in my mind and make it soundable using instruments . Do you think i have to study all the instruments , inorder to make this happen ?
you do not need to be able to play all instruments to write music, you only need to understand music language. most composers do not know how to play every instrument.
there are a number of ways that you can learn music theory. there are college classes and many theory books. it is very much like learning another language though, so expect it to be time consuming.
you can also try to find a music composition computer program. these kinds of programs can also be very difficult to use, especially if you do not have an understanding of music theory.
you might want to start by simply taking a piano class. you will learn a lot of theory, learn a new skill that will allow you to express some of your ideas, and perhaps find the right path to musical expression from that starting point.
